MUSIC SHOWS
K-Pop music shows feature live performances of K-Pop songs, artist interviews, and fan interactions. K-Pop music shows choose one winner each week based on their rankings in different categories. Winners of music shows often receive a trophy and PR from the network and other K-Pop journalists. Music Shows winner are determined by calculating the song's overall points based on the given criterias.
CRITERIAS:
- Digitals
Calculated base on the numbers of song's downloads and streams on Korean streaming services. Please see below streaming services:
Platforms Does it count? Global/Korean Melon Yes Both Genie Yes Both Bug Yes Both FLO Yes Both Vibe Yes Both Spotify No Both Youtube Yes Both (For Inkigayo only) Q: Does international streams on Melon, Genie, Flo, Vibe counts? Digital still counts for international users if you're able to access all streaming services above. All of these require a Korean phone number & payment method, so they are not truly usable internationally unless you create a Korean account and payment method workaround.
- Physicals
Calculated base on the numbers of album sales both Circles Album Chart and Hanteo Chart. Below are some stores where you can buy albums that will count on these charts. If you're an international Army, make sure that if you're purchasing from other stores, check first if they are Hanteo Certified sellers or if the sales will counts towards these charts or billboards.

📍Circle (Gaon) = Weekly/monthly totals → used for end-of-year awards, plus referenced by music shows.

The Broadcast score reflects how much the artist’s song is played, featured, or promoted on the TV channel that runs the music show.
- SNS
Number of streams on YouTube. Only the official music video (MV) uploaded on the artist’s official YouTube channel, and 1theK’s official channel (if the MV is distributed there).

Inkigayo is a weekly music show broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday from 3:40 pm to 4:50 pm KST. Artist's attendance is not required. Two songs per album are eligible. The song must place on the Top 200 of the Circle Chart. Each song may only win up to 3 times.

M Countdown is a weekly music show broadcast by Mnet. It airs live every Thursday at 6:00 PM KST. Artist's attendance is not required, however the artist must attend/promote on at least one music show. Songs may be no older than 4 weeks old. OSTs and CF singles are ineligible. Each song may only win up to 3 times.

Show Champion is a South Korean music television program broadcast live by MBC M every Wednesday 6:00 PM KST. Attendance is not required to be eligible for nomination. OST's and CF are not eligible. Eang song can only win up to 3 times.

Show! Music Core is a weekly music show broadcast by MBC. It airs live every Saturday at 03:45 PM KST. Artist's attendance is not required to be nominated. One song per artist is eligible at a time. Songs may be no older than two months old. Each song may only win up to 5 times.
